The utilization of drones in the working field has grown dramatically over the years allowing the workflow to be conducted in a more safe and efficient manner. Drones allow personnel to stay safely on the ground while inspecting hard to reach places with state of the art technology! Most inspections conducted traditionally with a handheld camera and/or climber, can take anywhere from 24-48 hours to complete. The right drone is able to conduct the same inspection within 1-4 hours. These photos and 3D maps can then be saved and reviewed over and over to help improve and maintain current assets.
